Yeah I write poetry and I believe Chelvie and a few others have expressed interest in it as well. Not only poetry but fictional writing too. I be happy to share some of mine....even though I don't write much anymore.

The Other Gemini by Lee
November 25 2007

On the rooftop, watching a sunset's
afterglow fade from orange to purple--
while the stars are replaced by her eyes.

She watches over me with a protected
smile, her hand wipes the tears away--
her presence within a simple breeze.

Every where I walk, she's waiting around
a corner watching my freespirited stride--
her wings keep me dry from rain or sun.

When I lay my head down to rest
her warmth glazes over my body--
keeping my dreams warm with hers.

We kill the lights and watch stars fall
softly into the ocean when waves crash
against our beating hearts - lost in a moment
where time stood still...

and she holds me there

like a magnet under the covers
directing my hand - steady unfolds into
an invisible climax when her body collides
with mine...

and she kisses me here

as a silhouette of her lips paint
'every little thing'
sending a supernova of warmth
ten miles high...

and she loves me dear.

Hi Xanados, I am new but I was an english major and pretty into poetry. Good poems, that last one is really, really good. I like your style.
