| Arcie-isms....part 1: Once again proving how much he really sucks and doesn't know how to skill himself properly, he still believes this: 5) My original char was a Scout, so.. the trainig basic commands window poped up and teleported me to the training zone, there I noticed that ranged combat is not done: no autoshoot. Arcie: Sorry you had to choose a scout. Scouts are NOT Damage Dealers in this game. They are support/effect characters. A lot of people complain that thier damage is too low. I dont know first hand, but I do think they need to keep PVP in mind when trying to balance PVE. Scouts level best by doing party quests. My rogue seems to be the same way as Rogues are not DDs either. I agree on the Autoshot comment. I feel skills should also move your character into range when you use them. Its frustrating being RIGHT outside of range and getting that red text saying "Distance to great to cast" or whatever. 6) So after exiting the training area I tried to kill some lvl 1 monsters to test the ranged combat system, and after 2-3 minutes I gave up. (3 minutes is all It took me to change my class to less likable class = rogue) Arcie: Rogues are great support characters. They can blind the enemy, slow the enemy (with a combo I havent figured out yet!), and constantly lower the enemies attack (poison buff). My suggestion if you like scout would be roll Scout as the rogue's Secondary class. Scout has a lot of dagger skills to kill when the mob gets in melee range. The rogue passes a good amount of dagger skills including BLIND SHOT which is a great damaging skill with a useful status effect. Stupid yes....he is.... | |

| Just reading his post about having nothing left to do as a tester really annoys me. He should just change his signature to that and be done with it. The way I see it his siggy should be as follows.
Arcie "I am too good to test all of the other aspects of the game. The only thing I am interested in is leveling and fighting the highest level boss's in the game. Please RuneWaker, Open a new area just for me since I am God."

| More Arcie LOLs: Proper English please. In your position its important to maintain proper English in order to effectively communicate with us commoners. Its "you ARE black." Other than that, I have always been against systems that take community members and give extra privileges to them, such as the RoM Supporter System. This is fairly off-topic so I will keep it brief. Systems that give any sort of authoritative position to community members automatically creates an elitist group. Any system that does that (especially in the already "elitist saturated" group of MMOers) is by default flawed. Many times guilds end up this way if they are successful. I dont honestly have anything against you three (Das, Xan, and Nightpool), but giving RoM Supporter to 3 guys who are all in the same guild shows favoritism and seems to create an elitist group inside of an elitist guild. No offense, thats just how I feel. *sigh* I side with no one really except people I'm close with, my guild especially, and my girlfriend. The rest are my playground... | |

| I think he just got a slap on the wrists and on his last straw probably. It's a starting trend that the current selection of RoM Supporters have at least 2 infractions before they were selected. | |

| Is Arcie also known as Vulenoy? Vulenoy seems to have calmed down, and Arcie picked up. Seems like a co-inky-dink.
Also, since you are talking about rogues, any tips, or links to good Rogue topics let me know. I started a Rogue primary, and plan on going Rogue/Warrior.

| Skooma and me are currently Rogue/Warriors but the true Rogue/Warrior would be a guy named DarkBlinx, he can school you on it.
Main skills you should focus on in the beginning is Villainy and Laceration.

| "To be honest, the skill isnt really that broken. I mean, in 1v1 its annoying as I have proven in many instances, but it cant win duels. If I hit you, you can suddenly hit me again. The fact that rogues dont do that much damage means this may be effective against mages or IF they can get into range, scouts, but against a warrior or knight, they will end up getting beaten using this tactic. It would end up being Sleep>Backstab>Awake and that means the opponent can do damage back. Once the opponent can fight back, the numbing dagger's use is gone since its cooldown is 30 seconds.
Sure, the heal thing is there making duels with rogues unfinishable, but if you pot during duels you suck anyways. A Rogue Priest could be annoying sleeping you and running back to heal, but they still cant do the damage to make the numbing dagger, by itself, broken.
I will say this much, in duels both characters should be considered "In Combat" for the duration of the duel. It would prevent the rogue from hiding in duels. But as for this skill, I really dont think its OVERPOWERED or anything. Its simply an annoyance and from what I understand its not useful against certain classes due to other skills. Focus on balancing actual broken skills, like Galaxy.
Arcie"
"The fact that rogues dont do that much damage"
Ummm..... Yea.....
Also noted, at OB I think I will make my main a Rogue/Knight. =) Alt as a Priest/Mage W/e else I think of as a good combo.... Been thinking a Warrior/Scout would be pretty cool.
