Requiem Community Meeting Planned Sat. Sept. 20th

Just in case you haven't been to the Requiem Forums yet, it looks like the GM's, and Mod's are planning a meeting for all the community to attend and voice opinions.

I'll try to be there (assuming RL issues don't arise)

Subject: General Community Meeting

Ok upon the suggestion of several community members and after conferring with the other Community Managers and the Head GM we have decided to hold a community meeting. We will be meeting ingame, on Friday(9/19) or Saturday(9/20) for approximately 1 hour. During this time players will be able to ask me any question or suggest possible changes for the game. I will answer all i can and everything i cannot answer i will post on the forums and consult the Devs for an answer.

I ask that all who attend please be mature and allow others to voice their opinion. If you wish to attend and be disrespectful or disruptive you will be temporarily suspended until the meeting is over.

This invitation is open to everyone not just guild leaders. If you have suggestions or feedback please attend.

The time, place and server have yet to be decided. However, please vote on a time, the time with the highest amount of votes will be the time of the meeting.


It sounds like the GMs are finally taking our wants into consideration! Hopefully something good will come of this meeting.

Go get em guys! Let em know theres a lot of other games out there offering more gameplay features than Requiem and how do they plan to compete with a slew of new games out now including the acclaimed Runes of Magic? Let em know they need more cause grinding alone isnt enough, or the horrible upgrade system in place doesnt cut it either. Tell em what you want, dont hold back or they will never do anything to change the face of that game! Good luck and I hope all the community is heard and taken seriously!

So far they have a poll running, to see which times would be best for everyone.
According to the poll, about 93% would like it to be held Saturday 4pm PST.
No details on what server or location as of yet. I will keep you all posted.

On a side note, there have been some pretty hilarious posts in that thread.

"Yeah but Heim doesn't get to game very much... And don't you want to see how they reflect themselves in game? I do. I bet this is just a cleaver trick and they are going to all gather us in one spot and summon 500 Biskras on us and just lol as we die..."


Now I have to show up for sure.... they could pull a fast one on us. I would just laff my ass off!

Ok the meeting will be taking place on Saturday 9/20 at approximately 4pm PDT on the Valdes server. The location in game will be here https://s264.photobucket.com/albums/ii177/RequiemCM/?action=view&current=Crescent.jpg , where red x marks the spot. Players who do not have characters on this server please take this time to make one and join us.
There will be an agenda/list of topics to be touched upon posted tomorrow. If time permits i will also allow for a few questions regarding issues that were not touched upon. This meeting will be held in the form of an open forum. If you wish to be heard please respect others when they speak. There will be GMs there to deal with players who wish to disrupt the event.
Please come with questions prepared, again i will answer all the questions i can, and those i cannot will be sent to the Dev Team for clarification.

So the meeting is going to be northwest of Rondel in Crescent, on the Valdes server.

First time i see a game having a ingame meeting , they must be feeling something going on within the community tell them it a dumb idea to make general chat for paying customers lol.

yeah, it was awesome! would have been better if they put you in jail tho
