Vent info.

Its madcast from Requiem, trying to get ahold of the new vent info. If somone could please post it here that would be awsome, i been tearing apart this website and i cant find it.

we actually dont use vent anymore we use GSC its a pretty nice voice client alot of great features pm Ephi for the info

Can anyone explain why we don't use vent anymore?

I click the IP in that post for the new Communications thing, and nothing happends so i dunno what to do , i downloaded the program and my user name is Madcast

Heres how I did it:

When you load up the program, you should notice 4 tabs in the window labeled 'Game Servers', 'Clans', 'Friends', and 'Voice'

Click the 'Voice' tab. Down in the bottom left of the window you should see two buttons, 'Add' and 'Delete'. Click 'Add', then click 'By IP Address' in the menu that pops up.

I assume you were PM'd the info for the Purgatory Channel, so punch that info into the window that appears. After you enter the IP Address and Port number, click 'OK' and he channel should appear under the 'Public Voice Servers' collapsible listing.

If you're a tad bit OCD like me, you can always click 'Add' and create a new 'Group' to put the new Purgatory room in. Simple drag and drop after it's created.

You can also do a search. I just searched purgatory and the IP and port number pop up automatically. All you have to do is put in the correct password.

1. you must be an accepted member not just a registered one to receive the voice server info which is why some people do not have it.
2. From what we understand King Mike is quite ill which is why he has not been here to give access to the rest of the forums. I am sure if you guys sit tight he will be able to shortly. Sorry Koturu didn't realize you didn't know the new voice system.

3. If any accepted members do not have the voice server info please pm me

We have no Vent anymore cuz I farted once and it all crashed. never came back up. Now we use 2 papermugs with a string in between to communicate.
